WATER INJECTION SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

The original water injection components were located in the Turbine enclosure. The system was problematic and unreliable, plus difficult to maintain and troubleshoot. Northwest Electrical Services redesigned the injection system to solve these issues. The injection flow control was revised to provide flow control via recycle, replacing the problematic PRV and Injection FCV. In addition, a new turbine meter was provided to replace the existing Orifice / DP flow measurement and a “proving valve” was installed to prove flow during the purge sequence. All components were skid mounted external to the Turbine enclosure. Local point I/O provides the PLC interface.
